HOW TO PAY TAX TO THE IRD

From the 1st March 2020, cheques are no longer being accepted by the IRD.  Here’s a reminder on ways of paying tax:-The safest and quickest way to pay the IRD is online – either in myIR or through your bank.Cash or Eftpos payments are accepted at a Westpac branch. However, from 1st July 2020 you will also need to have a barcode to ensure the payment can be correctly allocated.  Barcodes are usually printed on IRD returns, statements or letters.
